Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Engineer/ Jr. Site Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering with a focus on real estate development projects. The candidate should possess a minimum of 5 to 15 years of relevant experience in the field. As a Real Estate Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of real estate development projects, from initial planning and design to construction and completion. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that projects are completed efficiently, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with architects, structural consultants, MEP consultants, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive site plans and design solutions for real estate development projects. Ensure adherence to zoning regulations, building codes, and environmental standards.
  • Conduct thorough site evaluations to assess feasibility, identify constraints, and determine optimal land use strategies. Evaluate topographical features, soil conditions, and drainage systems to inform site development plans.
  • Prepare and review design drawings, specifications, and construction documents for various civil engineering aspects of real estate projects, including site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, and infrastructure.
  • Oversee the construction of the respective project and ensure the integration of sustainable design practices and cost-effective solutions.
  • Manage the permitting process, including the preparation and submission of permit applications, coordination with regulatory agencies, and compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Provide technical support during the construction phase, including conducting site inspections, reviewing construction documents, and addressing any unforeseen challenges or issues that may arise.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure that construction activities meet design specifications, safety standards, and project objectives. Conduct periodic inspections and assessments to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Identify potential risks and hazards associated with real estate development projects and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact. Proactively address any safety concerns and ensure adherence to industry best practices.
  • Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, regulatory agencies, and community members. Provide regular updates on project status, address concerns, and solicit feedback to facilitate collaboration and ensure project success.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to real estate development and civil engineering.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Civil Engineering, with a focus on high-rise real estate development projects.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant engineering software.
  • Strong knowledge of zoning regulations, building codes, and environmental regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
